However, since the presidential strife developed in the United States during 2015, until now, president and president, Donald Trump, has used a protectionist speech that became a service with the suspension of the agreement in the mention. For what we have explained previously, the present work is proposed as an object of study that makes a comparison between the commercial results (exports, imports and direct direct investments) during the last government of Barack Obama, and the first year and Donald Trump's government, with the aim of identifying political discourse, has had repercussions on trade relations between the two countries. This research is a descriptive and qualitative study, analyzed under the theory of integration. Among the main results is that the commercial relations between Mexico and the United States move in the NAFTA environment and stands out in the birth of this agreement in which we have prospered, especially in the part of Mexico. of its northern neighbor and this has generated growth and industrial development and even with the first year of Trump government trade relations do not present negative changes, but there is uncertainty in the coming years.
