    Propuesta de mejoramiento de procesos utilizando herramientas de ingeniería para la poscosecha de la empresa Florval S.A.S.

    Florval S.A.S. is a company dedicated to the production and exportation of Miniature Carnation and Sparkz export-type flowers, this company is located in the municipality of Nemocón. The Minicarnation is its main product since in sowing and in production it exceeds 90% of participation. The post-harvest of this company is one of the largest in Colombia, and as a result of this, it sometimes presents errors in its processes. Florval S.A.S. was selected as the object of study for this research project and application of engineering tools, such as the 5's methodology and the application of process diagrams to characterize post-harvest activities. The improvement proposal is related to increasing the productivity of the company Florval S.A.S. and to the reduction of flower loss in the postharvest, carrying out an analysis of the current processes to highlight the errors that are made in the operation and through the application of the tools mentioned above to reduce or eliminate those errors.
