    Oportunidad de negocios para la marroquinería colombiana en Europa

    The leather industry is an important sector for the country, as it contributes with 0.27% of the Colombian GDP, being a source of employment for 0.6% of the Colombian population, Colombian exports have been concentrated in their great majority towards the United States, therefore the purpose of this work is to investigate the potential markets in the European continent, where Colombia plays an important role thanks to the production of the leather sector, for this purpose the Way Station model is used in the theoretical framework, the present work will be carried out with a qualitative and descriptive methodology, finding as main results of the analysis of the European market that the most suitable country for the export of Colombian leather products is the Netherlands.
