Energías renovables y comercio de paneles solares: estudio de caso Open Plus
Baquero-Vásquez, Leidy Alejandra; Cárdenas-Pinzón, Leidy Marcela; Fulano-Mateus, Luisa Fernanda; Diaz Ariza, Diana Marcela
Studies carried out in Latin American countries show that the region has one of the most dynamic markets for renewable energy in the world. The analysis carried out shows that the Latin American region is growing with non-conventional energy source projects. Thus, as there is a greater demand for energy in the region, business opportunities will increase with lower development costs, being reflected in a more competitive environment. This work describes the renewable energy market in South America, in order to identify the main potential markets for the implementation of photovoltaic energy, for this a weighting matrix was carried out with which it was sought to establish different alternatives to identify the commercial opportunities it has the Open Plus company dedicated to trading solar panels or photovoltaic modules. Through the analysis of information, it was found that Brazil is the most indicated country as a commercial possibility for the export of solar panels, since it is among the countries with the highest capacity to produce renewable energy in Latin America and the Caribbean. For this reason, it is recommended from the Uppsala theory to carry out a direct foreign investment in the country.
