    La gamificación como propuesta didáctica en el aprendizaje de las matemáticas en la transición de básica a media

    In many places, traditional education is perceived or known as an environment where the teacher simply stands in front of a blackboard and explains the topic to be taught or exposed to his/her students. Nowadays teachers are looking for new teaching methods and tools, the objective is to motivate students so that what is explained is mostly learned, in this way, one of the tools that is most used by teachers, is known as gamification, where students learn through games, this tool is used for educational purposes, motivating to students to participate in the topics that are being discussed. This article looks for a way to unite gamification together with the use of social networks, which we know today are a trend and used specially by young people, evaluating its effectiveness and how valuable it is to use this union for educational purposes in teaching processes of mathematics, focused on grades nine through eleven.
