    The main objective of this academic work, is to describe the Hubemar Customs Agency in its competitive environment and how It can be benefit with the implementation of the Authorized Economic Operator certification, since this management process generates quality standards in the market of foreign trade. To develop this objective, a diagnosis was made in the company to establish its external and internal characteristics, identifyiing its commercial dynamics in the market and its quality processes. In the same way, a comparison is made with the organizations who develop the same economic activity, also a description about the environment in which it competes with customs agencies of high power and national recognition, identifying its competitive advantages, services and its market segment. The result of the project is the importance of obtaining the Authorized Economic Operator certification, as it is structured based on the current regulations and the benefits established in the medium and long term, in order to position the company with the standards of more competitive quality.
