Item Oportunidades comerciales que ofrece el EFTA para la exportación de rosas colombianas a NoruegaEscobar-Cantor, Angie Katherine; Gómez-Rodríguez, Leidy Margarita; Sánchez-Cabra, William; Redondo Méndez, Andrea CarolinaThe aim of the research is to analyze the opportunities offered by the EFTA FTA for the floriculture sector in terms of the export of roses to Norway in the period 2014 to 2018 and the benefits obtained with the entry of said agreement for Colombia. A descriptive methodology is used that identifies the different elements that carry out the research, which aims to explain the selected product which is the rose, in conjunction with the production in Colombia since it seeks to explain the properties and characteristics of the Norwegian market, bilateral relations and the importance of the treaty for the flower industry. Through the qualitative approach, it is specified that the results of the investigation with the exports of roses that has become one of those that potentiates the economy, which promises to increase Colombian exports taking into account the natural and optimal advantages for the production of roses. Through the analysis of the work, two theories are used that help to demonstrate the advances of Colombia in the floriculture sector; One of them is the theory of availability, which suggests that Norway is a country that does not have the capacity to meet the demand for roses and that by making this alliance with Colombia, it will be able to meet this need. Likewise, the theory of economic integration is used, which focuses on customs unions and the advantages that member countries acquire with this agreement.
