Item RELACIÓN ENTRE CARTERA EN MORA Y RIESGO CREDITICIO EN CLIENTES INDEPENDIENTES DEL BANCO AGRARIO DE COLOMBIAEliana Lucero Mendoza Gil; Alexander Zamora VelandiaThis applied research study analyzes the relationship between non-performing loans and credit risk among independent clients of Banco Agrario de Colombia, with the aim of identifying the factors that contribute to the deterioration of the bank's loan portfolio quality. Within the Colombian financial system, effective credit risk management is fundamental to ensuring the sustainability of banking institutions, especially in segments characterized by high levels of informality and income variability. In this regard, independent clients present a particular challenge due to the difficulty in assessing their repayment capacity using traditional methods. The study employs a quantitative approach with a descriptive and correlational scope, integrating data collection techniques such as surveys, interviews, and document analysis. Based on this data, the study seeks to establish the relationship between delinquency and credit risk, as well as propose strategies to strengthen risk management within Banco Agrario de Colombia.
