    Potencial exportador de aguacate colombiano a la Unión Europea en el marco del acuerdo de integración con la Alianza del Pacífico

    The objective of this paper is to demonstrate the potential of Colombian avocado exports to the European Union within the framework of the integration agreement with the Pacific alliance. This will begin with the phase of collecting information on data such as production, area and yield of avocado in Colombia and countries of the Pacific alliance in a period between 2014 and 2016. At the same time, information on the foreign trade of avocado was collected for each of the countries. The data were analyzed from trend graphs in conjunction with growth rates for the trade dynamics for each of the member countries and the consolidation for the Pacific alliance. Through these growth rates, it is evident that in the period from 2014 to 2018 a generally positive trend was generated for the Pacific alliance. However, in Colombia, although there was an increase in exports. What generated growth due to the incursion of new markets, is still one of the countries that produces less avocado for export within the framework of the Pacific alliance.
