    Inversión extranjera directa de Canadá hacía Colombia

    The main objective of this research is to analyse the performance of the Foreign Direct Investment flow from Canada to Colombia considering as a starting point the effective date of the Colombia-Canada Free Trade Agreement commence date. For this purpose, we worked within the theoretical economic integration framework, foreign direct investment and free trade agreement information, supported by a documentary-type methodology. The research concludes that from the effective commence date of the Colombia-Canada FTA there is a 433% increase in the flow of foreign direct investment for the period of 2011-2020 coming from Canada. With the results it can be inferred that what was agreed in the Colombia - Canada FTA in relation to Foreign Investment has generated greater guarantees for Canada in its transactions with Colombia, in addition, it can be noticed that none of the internal safety concerns or conditions in the country have weakened the flow of investment Canadian businessmen
