    This work reflects the design and implementation of the preventive maintenance plan for the machinery and equipment of the production system of the looms area of ​​the company Industrias Real S.A. The proposed maintenance model is carried out in order to improve the performance of the equipment and possess one hundred percent of its installed capacity through a strategic regime that includes an initial diagnosis, documentation, planning, organization, direction and control of the maintenance process. developed in the Weaving area. To carry out this, firstly, the diagnosis of the general condition of all areas was made, describing the present condition, thus identifying the need to establish a maintenance plan. Subsequently, the model for the administration of maintenance activities in the company was designed, which allows keeping the schedule in an organized and controlled manner. During the implementation, the inventory and coding of the machinery according to the family of references was carried out, then the criticality status was determined for each of them. In relation to the results, the preventive maintenance program was designed according to repair and production needs; which is made up of provisional maintenance according to the factory catalog, scheduled periodic reviews and repairs, minor adjustments and equipment lubrication activities. At the end, the maintenance indicators are presented that allow evaluating the performance of the program and making the appropriate adjustments and corrections by the work team.
