    This research is based on the design of strategies to internationally project the Colombian artisan sector focused within the cultural and creative industries, where supported by the theory of competitive advantage, prior knowledge of history, relevance, importance of the artisan sector and the collection of successful strategies in the sector implemented for countries like Mexico, Peru and Ecuador, suggests strategies in which the Colombian artisanal sector can be supported to strengthen international competitiveness and this project abroad by taking advantage of the competitive advantage that it has the same and generate a unique and differentiating impact that positions the sector within the global market. For the development and development of the research a non-experimental design is applied, focused on a documentary research that allowed the search, selection and collection of information that generated great contribution to the body of the project and describe the strategies that promote the international projection of the Colombian artisanal sector, since in a globalized world the cultural and creative industries play a preponderant role within the economies of the countries, by another part the Colombian artisan sector is full of unlimited and inexhaustible resources, rich in culture, creativity, innovation, continuous progress and own seal is key to stand out in the market and achieve competitiveness, growth, positioning and recognition.
