    Estrategias para reducir las devoluciones a proveedores en Cencosud Colombia

    The main axis of this work is the process of merchandise returns to suppliers that are presented in Cencosud stores in the city of Bogotá. Allowing to develop two key objectives aimed at identifying the reasons why the return of products is presented by the stores in the Jumbo and Metro stores. As a first measure, a diagnosis of the organization is carried out, inquiring about its history, economic activity, its captive market, the producst and services it provides and the location of the main stores in the city of Bogotá. Databases were analyzed showing the reasons, the quantities, the suppliers that submitted returns in the first half of 2020; thus identifying how is the behavior of each of the providers regarding the reasons. It inquires about the sales that these products presented in the analyzed period, which are the suppliers, the inspection process that is carried out when the merchandise arrives at the different collection points of Cencosud. As a final result, different strategies are presented to the company that can be implemented in order to develop and reduce the returns that are currently presented by a percentage.
