    Abstract Among the most serious and repeated occupational accidents are traffic accidents carried out by drivers, so a series of laws and regulations have been implemented in order to avoid or prevent these frequent road accidents; however, these accidents continue affecting , so the lack of technical tests carried out on workers will be related to an absence of the selection and permanence process, this to achieve an improvement in the quality of the study Object . To realise this objective, this inductive qualitative research methods are used with broad instruments such as surveys and interviews, generating a relationship between the problem, social actors, solutions and conclusions. Thanks to these methodological processes, positive results are achieved, confirming the existence of the relationship between the lack of technical tests and road accidents, depending on the work activities of drivers. With the above it is concluded, first that there are factors to be taken into account as generators of road accidents, namely, the age of the drivers, the driving manoeuvres, the chosen routes, among others. And, secondly, that at the time the strategic road safety plan and the tests are implemented it is possible to present improvements in work activities and Decrease in road accidents by drivers.
