For its development, two substantiated questionnaires were carried out in a qualitative approach where, at first place, they were identified some motivational elements in the employees and, at second place, they were determined the main characteristics of working environment at that work place. This has as a purpose to establish the incidence of motivational elements in the working environment and to understand the key elements to achieve an ideal job performance. In this way, the next question is laid out: what are the motivational key elements that have an incidence in the job performance of Davivienda bank’s employees located at Kennedy’s office, taking into the account its connection with working environment? The motivational elements extracted from the theoretical framework were identity, communication, relationships, cooperation, recognition, reward, conflict and structure, from which it was determined that, according to employees, the only one that represents an ideal level of motivation is the last category. In terms of working environment characteristics, elements such as infrastructure, leadership and incentives, while interactions, recognitions, equality and conflict treatment are not properly executed. Those low levels are due to lack of employees’ adaptation because of damaging motivational conditions presented by all work place members.
