    Diseño de un manual para la innovación de productos y procesos en la empresa ALFRÍO S.A.S

    The internships were developed in the R&D department at Alfrío SAS, a company dedicated to industrial refrigeration. There, through business assessment tools, a situation of disadvantage over competition in the sector was identified, and therefore a strategy was started in order to encourage the innovation. This is the origin of the construction of an instrument applicable to the corporate world, a manual which consists of encouraging innovation as an inherent process within the company, resulting in the improvement of products or processes. This document will allow the promotion of initiatives and in order to achieve this objective, previous documentation from sources such as scientific journals, books, chapters, theses associated with the topic of innovation was taken into account using structured databases and unstructured databases. Through the review of academic material, clarity was achieved about what is innovation, its forms and elements, and it was also outlined what a manual is and its constituent parts, obtaining as a result a model that will allow any collaborator to promote a idea within the company. After the implementation determined by Alfrío, an evaluation can be made with the indicators established in this document and thus measure the positive impact of this manual.
