    The main objective of this research is to analyze the opportunities that the Colombian businessman has to penetrate the Swiss market through palm oil, taking into account that it currently has a current FTA with Switzerland that grants it a 0% tariff to enter the Swiss market. For the development of this research and to achieve the proposed objective was made the analysis characterizing the palm oil and the opportunities it has to penetrate the Swiss market. Concluding that the political, economic and cultural scene of Switzerland gives the advantages to foreign investors generating security and confidence when it comes to investment, and that this market must be exploited, taking into account the growth and importance of the chocolate industry, consumer demands for sustainable products and standards required in terms of certification.
