    Estudio de prefactibilidad para el diseño y producción de una planta para la cría de caracoles Hélix Aspersa

    This pre-feasibility study degree project is carried out with the objective and focus of carrying out the creation of a plant for the breeding of snails of the species Hélix Aspersa Máxima in order to commercialize the meat and slime . In Colombia snail farming is an activity that has been developed over time in the last 20 years, due to the geographical and climatic feasibility that the country presents.The beginning of this study was to understand in an investigative and practical way how the construction and productive process of snail breeding is carried out, after this we proceeded to identify and analyze if it was possible to create a plant taking into account all the processes and stages that this required, know the legal regulations and good handling practices that govern this type of production, the investigative and descriptive method is used, the entire process is explained step by step, the necessary information is collected and then be analyzed and that allowed us to make decisions and see the current state of the sector, finally in this project Industrial Engineering was implemented in all its facets and stages involving knowledge of performing calculations, elaboration of plant design, elaboration of product design , execution of financial study, market study, organizational and process study, MRP and MPS among others that are consigned in this final pre-feasibility project.
