    Oportunidad de negocio del cannabis medicinal en el marco de la hoja de ruta para el desarrollo de la actividad en Colombia

    The cannabis market for medicinal purposes is regulated in the country in order to expand its opportunities both in the national and international markets. This work aims to identify business opportunities in the international medical cannabis market within the framework of monitoring the roadmap proposed by the government. This research is approached from a mixed approach since it combines quantitative and qualitative variables for its fulfillment, in particular, associated with the aspects regulated over time, production in the country, exports and main destinations, as well as the characteristic aspects of the potential countries. The main results are those that allow to identify the current status regarding the standard and its operating conditions at the national level, additionally, a statistic regarding the tariff items will be identified, which allows the mobilization of products at the international level. Finally, the countries with the highest demand for cannabis-derived products are identified, allowing a clear projection of the current situation that Colombia is positioning itself in front of the world in the cannabis sector.
