Green roofs are a method used to make a positive impact on the environment and families as these provide food their own consumption. Green roofs is a project which is focused on the low-income communities in this is to ensure that the implement the results will make harvesting of plants to sustain them where they may slightly lower the level of malnutrition in families in the municipality of Villanueva. For this the most appropriate method in which to grow food optimizing resources will be investigated, and raises detail all the necessary requirements to achieve later execution by implementing different methodologies (direct, indirect, intensive, semi- intensive, extensive) green roofs help each building has a proper use of marginal spaces seeking itself the greatest benefit for the population as may be the study and implementation of an extensive green roof from different points of view is very advantageous because it requires little maintenance and is done in inaccessible places such as roof of a house without patio or terrace.
