This project intends to elaborate a proposal that allows to reduce the distribution costs in the company Natural Food S.A.S; through the use of a mathematical model. Therefore, it was necessary to carry out an information survey, where the zones were identified and characterized, with which the company counts and the points of sale that each one possesses; it was also possible to point out the fixed and variable costs, which directly influence the distribution area. The routes were plotted in order to define routes and distances. Determining which parameters and variables are counted, and thus reviewing the research theories of operations, mainly related to transportation and distribution problems; in order to establish which of these best suits the characteristics of the problem. It was determined that the traveler agent model is adapted to the needs of the company Natural Food, so it was configured with the information collected from each of the five areas with which the company has; in order to obtain a decrease in the distances traveled. The model was validated by a sensitivity analysis; to verify that it complies with the proposed restrictions and identify the changes in the optimal solution. Finally, an analysis of the results obtained was carried out, approximately 68.19 kilometers per day (17%) were reduced, distributed among all the analyzed areas; and a reduction of $ 1,659,517 pesos per month, with respect to logistics costs.
