Item Reflexiones en torno al desarrollo del pensamiento crítico de los estudiantes de grado octavo del Colegio Agustiniano Ciudad Salitre a través de los contenidos del reality show Desafío Súper HumanosAldana Rodríguez, Miguel Alonso; Casas Pineda, Alcira; González Prieto, Alicia Lorena; Orobio Montaño, AlexanderThe objective of this research project was focused on analyse the incidence of the reality show “Desafío Súper Humanos” in the critical thinking development of the eight grade students of the Agustiniano Ciudad Salitre School. For achieve this aim, the problem was identify, starting from the influence that the teenage students receive from the media and more specifically from the reality shows. According to this, a qualitative research methodology was developed with an ethnographic approach that uses the semi-structured interview as an important instrument. This interview was applied to 15 eight grade students from the Agustiniano Ciudad Salitre School and some of their results were: The contents of the “DesafíoSúper Humanos” reality show were interesting for the student and at the same time generate an impact on them as soon as they are spectators and consumers of the reality. Specifically, the students assume two views. By one hand, the majority of them agree that the program is entertaining, fun and interesting. On the other hand, some of them take a reflexive view that shows some basic critical competences at the moment when they interpret the real intention of the program, judge their contents, recognize the antivalues that are shown and evaluate their credibility. The students feel part and involved with the challenges proposed in the show, some of them build stereotypes with the ones they have more empathy and personal recognition.
