Desarrollo de una aplicación móvil para la Centralización y Potenciación del Comercio Local y Microemprendedores en Bogotá – ALMA
Carvajal Guzman Nicolle Alejandra; Ing. Mag. Mauricio Alonso Villalba
The ALMA project arises to solve the disconnection in Bogotá between local micro-entrepreneurs and nearby customers. While merchants remain digitally invisible, buyers often prefer waiting weeks for international shipments, unaware that what they seek is available just a few blocks from home. To address this, I developed ALMA, a mobile application that utilizes geolocation to connect supply and demand in real time. The platform organizes its catalog into strategic categories: "Creators" for original and handcrafted brands, "Businesses" for local distributors, and a "Sustainable" section to encourage responsible consumption. Technically, the application includes a business management panel, a loyalty system based on "Seeds," carbon footprint calculation, and a payment gateway in a Sandbox environment. Built with React Native, ALMA is more than a virtual store; it is a digital transformation tool that empowers the local economy and urban sustainability.
