    Taking into account the change that has taken place in recent years in the demand for cosmetics in the world thanks to the desire of consumers to have sustainable and environmentally friendly consumption styles, the main objective of this research is to analyse the effects of the implementation of green seals in the Colombian cosmetics sector, In order to achieve this, it was necessary to analyse the environmental regulation for the cosmetics sector, the state of technological and productive innovation in Colombia, taking Porter and Van Der Linde's theory of environmental competitiveness as a reference, and to have a reference on the state in which it is, with the result that although the country needs to be strengthened in terms of enforcement; Thanks to the legislation and governmental programmes that have been carried out in recent years, they have contributed to the construction and consolidation of a cosmetics sector based on quality natural ingredients and in the future it will be able to position itself as a world-class sector.
