    Exportación de Cestería en Rollo, de Guacamayas Boyacá- Colombia al Mercado Italiano

    Guacamayas, a municipality located to the north of Boyacá, recognized by the work of the "weaving of basket rolls" that the menestrales, practice to elaborate crafts, office that has improved through the time, creating utilitarian and decorative objects; maintaining a Handmade Colombia that counts on craftsmen full of love and talent by the work. This article aims to identify opportunities for marketing and export of handicrafts Guacamayences to the Italian market taking advantage of the FTA Colombia-European Unión. It describes the process of production and commercialization of these products, with information collected in field trips to Macaws, visits and interviews with producers. An analysis of the dynamics of international trade is presented, mainly to the European and Italian markets between 2015 and 2019. Finally, a guide to exporting handicrafts is presented, as well as possible barriers that the artists have had to take their product abroad.
