    Análisis del comportamiento de los flujos de inversión extranjera directa de México a Colombia en el periodo 2011-2017

    This research presents the main concepts associated with Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and balance of investment flows, definitions taken from international organizations, analyzing and identifying the growth that has taken place in recent years, the main recipients are mentioned in Latin America, as well as the sectors with the highest concentration of FDI and most attractive to the global market, Colombia's participation in FDI is subsequently observed in relation to countries of the world, the motivating factors in relation to the current relationship between Mexico and Colombia, the industry to which the investment is directed and focused on strategic sectors within this commercial relationship. The main agreements such as the pacific alliance and the FTA will be briefly mentioned, in order to determine the important achievements embodied in them, also addressing certain guarantees and agreements that the Colombian government currently manages to ensure entry. of IED. For the research, a qualitative descriptive methodology was implemented, which allows to have a versatility in the investigative process taking the information that points out the object sought which is to show and analyze the investment generated by Mexico in Colombia.
