    The objective of the research work is to analyze the perception that the students of the Agustiniana University have on concepts and methodologies used by teachers for the development of critical thinking in the subject of costs. In this framework, it is interesting to contrast the appreciations that thinking critically is an activity that seeks to improve thinking, and therefore can be developed through motivational processes. Therefore, the task is to design a Didactic Unit based on critical pedagogy that contributes to strengthening the joint development of thinking skills from metacognitive bases essential for the transformation and improvement of thinking.
