    Estudio de los cambios culturales generados por la actividad turística durante las ferias y fiesta de exposición ganadera y agropecuaria, en el municipio de San Gil Santander, 2013-2017

    The main objective of this document is to determinate the cultural changes consequence of the tourist in the festivals in San Gil in the last five years. The development of the investigation, takes qualitative data, analyzed with Atlas Ti tool. Our start point was separate the people in local group, merchants’ group, academia group and principal directors’ groups, then we created indicators to define the changes. The indicator gave us the follow information: Perception indicator: 66% of the participants saw the festival like an opportunity to grow up on the town. Cultural dynamics indicator: 66% of the participants swear feel negative dynamics in the festival, like the transculturation. 37% of the participants thought that the changes are good for the increase in the sells. Development indicator: 65% of the participants perceive good new visitants in the town. 35% thought that is negative because it brings informal sellers, logistic and security problems. Activities indicators: 50% of the activities were recurrent in the last five years, and the other 50% of the activities changes each year.
