Estudio técnico de modelos de propagación de cobertura en el servicio de televisión digital terrestre
Borda-White, Diana Carolina; Gómez Ruiz, Carlos Andres
This document shows the technical development of the study carried out on the propagation models for coverage of Digital Terrestrial Television, DTT services, in five stations located in different places of the Colombian territory in order to identify the propagation model that presents the least error comparing them with the values of measurements made in the field published by the National Television Agency, ANTV. Studies on coverage simulations are presented using propagation models such as ITU-R P.526-11, Deygout, ITU-R P.1546, ITU-R P.1812, Okumura-Hata, ITU-R P.526- 13 and Longley Rice for the DTT stations of Calatrava, Manjui, La Popa, La Pita and Montería, by simulating radio frequency coverage using the characteristics published by the RTVC. Quantitative analysis of the values of the calculated measurements and the measurements published by the ANTV was performed to show the variations and thus be able to understand the classification of the errors presented between each simulation result and the measurements provided by the ANTV. The propagation model that contains a minimum margin of error and the best representation in the characteristics of the national geography is concluded.
