Item Intervención arquitectónica en el borde de la quebrada Chiguaza segmento D.Bocanegra Gutierrez, Cesar Fabian; González Espinosa, Erick Esteban; Calderón Uribe, Franz GiovanniThe interest of the research focuses on the ecological connectivity that exists in the city of Bogotá, recognizing two main elements, the eastern hills and the Bogotá River connected by means of water sources, forming an ecological network damaged by unplanned growth and industry in the city. One of the main tributaries of the Bogotá River is the Tunjuelito River, which does not have a direct relationship with the eastern hills, but rather by means of streams. The main one is the Chiguaza Creek, providing the ecological connectivity of the area. During its journey it connects two metropolitan parks, the Entrenubes Park and the Tunal Park, apart from analyzing the ecological connectivity of the stream, it analyzes the urban dynamics and the social encounter, showing strategic intervention areas which have a deficit of public space and equipment. In order to improve the ecological connectivity, a geomorphological recovery zone is used, present in the edge of the chiguaza stream between the upz marruecos and diana turbay, linking the existing educational facilities with the san jose brickyard present in the area in current illegal use, generating a change of use that provides cultural equipment (chiguaza environmental center library), focusing on the new culture of water, which is responsible for the disclosure and protection of water resources, providing new dynamics to the place, improving the quality of life of the inhabitants and reorganizing the city around the protection of water.
