The objective of this research is to analyze the process that Colombian exporting companies must assume to acquire the certification as Authorized Economic Operator in security and protection. To achieve this objective, it is proposed to carry out an analysis of the export sector taking into account the behavior of the years 2017 - 2019 and explain the requirements, obligations and benefits obtained by acquiring the certification as Exporter OEA. Therefore, to respond to the objectives, a nonexperimental design of descriptive scope is proposed, since the central objective of the document is to provide concise information, highlighting the importance of acquiring the certification as an authorized economic operator, bearing in mind that with the passing of the years, accreditations in companies will be appreciated as a factor of great importance, being considered in some international markets as a non-tariff barrier that provides stability and trust in the ally, becoming in the short-term future a trend that generates positioning, recognition and credibility within the international market. On the other hand, it is intended to give an answer to the research question through the management of secondary sources which are key for the investigation because these give us the possibility of manipulating the various variables experienced by other researchers, this with In order to analyze this information, to be used as a method for the creation of new strategies by the different companies in the Colombian export sector.
