    Prototipo de un robot móvil con identificador de residuos

    The identification of waste is one of the factors that impact society in terms of proper waste distribution, with a significant amount ending up in inadequate trash bins, thus resulting in an inefficient distribution of elements. With current technology, this issue can be addressed in various ways, one of which is the implementation of a mobile robot capable of identifying certain solid waste through artificial intelligence. Focusing on its implementation at the Agustiniana University, the resolution 2184 of 2019 in Colombia is considered as a guide for waste classification to enable the robot's identification capabilities. This study specifies the type of waste according to the mentioned resolution and the elements to be identified, the components of industrial instrumentation used for the prototype's construction, the proposed mechanical structure, and finally, the validation of the mobile robot.
