Item Parque Ecológico Humedal la VacaMolina-Muñoz, Paola Katherine; Amaya-Murcia, Lisa Natalia; Ulloa, MiguelThe factor that generates a negative impact on the La Vaca Wetland (element of the main ecological structure) was uncontrolled population growth and informal construction. This wetland is located in the town of Kennedy in the city of Bogotá D.C., which must be considered as a fundamental element of the natural and urban landscape. In this research, an analysis of the wetlands of Bogotá was carried out where the wetland with the most suffering was identified, then the problems that caused this were taken into account such as: lack of planning, accelerated population growth, informal construction, fragmentation, the presence of commercial use and the ignorance of natural elements, their function and their contribution to the city. To configure the landscape as an articulating element of a fragmented territory, it is necessary to understand the importance of natural elements. For this, the recovery of the humerus is considered, the connection of public space through different uses and tensions that generate an articulation of the city and the landscape to generate the best quality of life.
