In order to develop this research, the most important variables for the entry of food products to the EU, which were negotiated in the treaty, were analyzed. of free trade signed in the city of Brussels, Belgium, on June 26 (2012) with entry into force on August 1, (2013) through June (2017), in addition to this they are governed by the requirements imposed in the white paper, where It establishes the most important characteristics for the entry of food into its territory, the most important being the health and care of its citizens, good environmental practices in the management of plants, animals and their production. In this research we observe the importance of phytosanitary regulations, hygiene, contaminants management and other processes that intervene with the production of food in this way we analyze the importance of this type of requirements making these instruments that generate quality, commitment and competitiveness in front of the global market. Given this need, Colombia begins a process of implementation and development of these certifications, such as the Colombian Environmental Seal, which seeks to encourage competitive growth through environmental sustainability
