    The content of this document is based on a strategic direction approach, to the company COTAX LTDA. This work begins with the description of the company, the approach to the research problem and formulates the objectives, general and specific, presenting its justification. This part defines the action of the plan, showing the scenario in which administrative knowledge will be applied. The issue involves the great task of compiling a theoretical part, whose frames of reference accentuate its conceptual and contextual foundations. Designing a strategic direction by carrying out a complete analysis of the economic environment in which the company develops and all the movements that are made daily finally, a strategic diagnosis is made, formulates and implements the project, according to the conditions and requirements of the management of the company
