    This investigation was carried out in order to address a problem presented by the company Prodipol y Cía. Ltda., Due to the regulations imposed by the Colombian Government through resolution 668 of 2016, which seeks to reduce the consumption of plastic bags through different programs and prohibitions that limit the production and marketing of this type of products. The main objective of this research is to design business strategies for the company Prodipol, which comply with the requirements imposed by the regulations, for the sustainability of this company and at the same time allow penetration in international markets. In Chapter I, a strategic diagnosis of the company is made through the use of the internal factors assessment matrix and the external factors assessment matrix, which allow knowing the current state of the company, by evidencing their weak and strong points, strategies are designed by company areas that allow improving the competitive position of the company.
