Acevedo Alarcon, Ingrid Lorena; Bello Reyes, Jessica Daniela; Rojas Grajales, Laura; Cárdenas Mora, Giovanna Carolina
It’s important to add that socio-cultural changes have now allowed to diversify tourism, presenting new challenges. One of them is the tourism offer for the elderly people, which is moving the tourism industry, becoming a strong and dynamic demand in many countries at present. .Based on the above and considering its commercial potential, a diagnosis of senior tourism was made as a new tourist branch in the municipality of Anapoima (Cundinamarca), This research was developed in three stages, each one fully presented in a respective chapter: In the first chapter, Providers of tourism services in Anapoima for senior tourism, we identify the status of the municipality's offer regarding the provision of service for an adult higher. On the other hand, in the next chapter, Profile of the senior tourist in Anapoima, the analysis of the characteristics of the average senior visitor is presented, thus allowing the elaboration of the corresponding profile. Finally, considering the analysis previously done, in the third chapter strategies were formulated that allow the inclusion of senior tourism in the municipality of Anapoima.
