Abstract
This research is based on the implementation of Shulman´s study in the application of the
CDC and the implementation of GeoGebra software, which allows visualizing the geometric
solids figures and their characteristics, so it allows students to manipulate both; virtual and real
geometric bodies in three dimensions and appreciate all their characteristics. In this way, the
geometry's teaching and learning process is dynamized.
The applied methodology in this project was Action - Research, which was carried out to 36
students from the Agustiniano Norte school, who are in fifth grade and participated in four
stages. The four stages were: first stage diagnosis, second stage explanation of prisms and
pyramids by means of GeoGebra software, third stage explanation applying GeoGebra software
of cones and cylinders and the evaluation the fourth stage, that was the same diagnosis. The
results of this investigation allowed to concluding that GeoGebra software is a highly effective
tool for the teaching of geometric solids.

Esta investigación está basada en la implementación del estudio de Shulman en la aplicación del
CDC y la implementación el software GeoGebra, que permite visualizar los sólidos geométricos
y sus características, para que los estudiantes puedan manipular tanto de manera virtual como de
manera real los cuerpos geométricos en tres dimensiones y apreciar todas sus características, de
esta manera, se logra dinamizar el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje de la geometría.
La metodología implementada en este trabajo fue investigación-acción. A 36 estudiantes del
colegio agustiniano norte que cursan grado quinto; los cuales participaron en cuatro etapas, a
decir: primera etapa diagnóstico, segunda etapa explicación de prismas y pirámides por medio
del software GeoGebra, tercera etapa explicación por medio del software GeoGebra de conos y
cilindros y la evaluación que fue la mismo diagnóstico. Los resultados de esta investigación
permitieron concluir que el software GeoGebra es una herramienta altamente efectiva para la
enseñanza de los sólidos geométricos.
