Propuesta para el desarrollo de turismo interpretativo en el parque Nacional Natural del Sumapaz

Abstract

This study pretends to demonstrate the need for the development of responsible tourism in the Sumapaz National Natural Park, a study was taken as reference and development of Sumapaz town 20, Cundinamarca, this town counts with great tourist potential for the proper development of tourism. First of all, the ease of access to this place was observed considering that it is only one hour from the urban area of the city. This study wants to stand out the ecosystems, the natural resources, the ecological tourism and the profile of the tourist, and carry out organized and well-executed tourism system in which the environmental impact generated was minimized in Sumapaz moor. Although on the Internet there are plenty of tourist plans in the area, the truth is there is not any tour operator for this kind of activity, and the place does not have the necessary infrastructure neither. The damage caused in this place such as the litter, indiscriminate hunting, and fishing, the number of visitors without strict control have brought great problems for the biodiversity of the plants that are mostly slow-growing in the area. This is a damage caused by part for the irresponsible tourism, due to the number of people who are not prepared for visit the place, which causes the misuse of the natural resources and an irreversible damage.
