El ecoturismo como alternativa de preservación en el Páramo de Guacheneque
Resumen
Este proyecto busca convertir el ecoturismo en una alternativa de preservación del Páramo de Guacheneque, ya que existen actividades económicas que están afectando este ecosistema, debido al mal uso que hacen los pobladores en sus terrenos que se encuentran cerca y en algunos casos dentro del páramo. Para ello se realizará un diseño exploratorio secuencial, en el cual se recolecta información cualitativa y luego datos cuantitativos para su posterior análisis. Con base en lo investigado se determina que las actividades que más afectan al páramo son la agricultura y la ganadería, debido al uso irresponsable de las fuentes hídricas y del suelo, provocando el deterioro del ecosistema. Posterior a esto, se analiza que existe un gran potencial turístico que no ha sido aprovechado de forma responsable y por ello se propone un portafolio de actividades que se pueden desarrollar dentro y fuera del páramo para poder preservarlo con la participación de la comunidad local.
Abstract
This Project look for to convert ecotourism into an alternative for preservation of the Paramo of Guacheneque, since there are economic activities that are affecting this ecosystem, due to the misused that the inhabitants make in the their lands that are nearby and in some cases within the paramo. For this, a sequential exploratory design will be carried out, in which qualitative information is collected and then quantitative data fot its subsequent analysis. Based on the research, it is determined that the activities that affect more the paramo are agriculture and livestock, due to the irresponsible use of water sources and soil, causing the deterioration of the ecosystem. After this, it is analyzed that there is a great tourist potential that has not been used in a resposible way and therefore a portfolio of activities that can be developed inside and outside the paramo is proposed in order to preserve it with the participation of the local community.
